Policies

With booking physiotherapy, all clients agree to the policies below.

Online Booking

Bookings are made through the Jane App. Please complete your intake form prior to your appointment so that it doesn't cut into your assessment time. Filling out the treatment form in its entirety is required to provide the best care and to ensure no red flags are missed.

A credit card is required on file before your first appointment. This card will be used to complete payment unless otherwise discussed and will be used for applicable late cancellation or no-show fees.

Cancellation Policy24 Hours

We understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be changed. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-show appointments will be subject to a fee of 50% of the appointment cost. A second late cancellation or missed appointment will be subject to 100% of the appointment fee.

Cancellation fees cannot be billed to extended health benefits and are the responsibility of the patient.

Thank you for respecting the time reserved specifically for your appointment.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy and confidentiality are important. Personal and health information collected as part of your physiotherapy care will be kept confidential and will not be released to others without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law.

If you have any questions or concerns about how your information is collected, used or shared, please feel free to ask.

Refusal of Service

A safe, welcoming and respectful environment is expected for everyone. Treatment may be postponed or discontinued in situations involving:

  • Threatening, abusive, discriminatory or derogatory behaviour
  • Inappropriate sexual or romantic comments or advances
  • Intoxication or significant impairment
  • Illness or infectious conditions that may pose a risk to others
  • Behaviour that compromises professional boundaries or the ability to provide safe, appropriate care

When appropriate, concerns will be discussed before care is discontinued.
